Afterschool Enrichment Opportunities
Programs begin September 15th.
After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) guidelines
· Clubs are not run by the LCPS or the MSE school system. These are organized by the MSES PTO
· If we notice that a child does not have a PTO Family membership for the current year, their spot will be cancelled without any refund. Make sure you are a 2025-2026 PTO member
· No clubs on no-school days. No guaranteed makeup or refunds for school closures or early dismissal days
· Kindergarteners will be directed to their clubs. Students in grades 1-5 will be dismissed to clubs as they would with walkers and car riders
· Parents/Guardians are responsible for reminding the students to attend their ASEP class upon school dismissal
· There are no refunds from 2 weeks before the beginning of the first class.
· ASEP program dismissal method for the student should be selected during the registration.
· No LCPS buses or daycares are available for ASEP Dismissals. Students registered in CASA will be directed to CASA after club ends
· Regular walkers in Grades 3-5 with parental consent will be allowed to walk home without adult presence. MSES PTO assumes no responsibility for kids released to walk home
· Kids can bring in a quick dry snack and water to have before class starts. (No drinks, fruit or sticky stuff will be allowed)
· Make sure kids have comfortable clothing and shoes for the activities they are participating in
· Tennis: Kids need to bring in their own tennis racket.
· If your kid is going to be absent for their club, please inform the club coach and the school office by 10:00 AM
· Pickup: Park in the parking lot (not the driving loop) and come to the assigned door for dismissal. You will need to sign out your student.

· PTO LATE FEE $5 until 3:40 PM $15 till 3:50 PM $25 from 3:50 onwards
· In addition, some vendors also have their own late pickup fee they have already mentioned during their registration or on their website. Please check with your respective clubs
· If the assigned caregiver is not present, we will call the child’s contact.
· If after 3:40 we cannot reach a caregiver, law enforcement may be contacted in order to ensure parents are safe and the child can be cared for.
· If a parent is late more than twice, or if there are couple behavioral issues with a student, PTO has the right to take the child off the program with no refund.
